This just depends on what you are looking for and need for your site? Do you have your own card processor or do you need to get one via the host? Do you have your own shopping cart or again do you need this from the host? The more you setup on your own and license to yourself, means the less you pay the host to provide for you. I understand not every little site can have everything setup and registered to themselves, that is when it is nice to go with a host that provides all of that for you. Please explain more of what you are needing to get a better response of who and what for the ecommerce side of things.
