1. Google’s Pagerank is a calculate of a page’s importance based on number and quality of incoming links to your website while Alexa Rank is computed based on traffic recorded to your website as calculated through the Alexa Toolbar.

2. Google Page Rank is only published 3-4 times a year while in Alexa ranks your website by current traffic.

3. Google Page Rank is not frequently updated as in the case of Alexa. So sometimes Google page rank may appear outdated.

4. Google Page Rank is calculated from 1 -10. Bigger is Better while Alexa Rank is calculated from Millions – 1. Smaller is Better.

On my knowledge Page rank is given by google it despond on website quality, traffic, back links etc..

Alexa ranking despond on the traffic.

Google Page Rank : Google give page rank to good website content, if your content is unic and not copied you will get good google page rank .
Alexa Rank : Alexa give there rank my website traffic.

This is the ranking that is provided by Alexa.com. This is based on the actual traffic going to a Website whereas Google PR is calculated mainly by the number and quality of inbound links to a specific page and not traffic.

According to me,
generally, page rank is counted by the number of quality back-links of particular website on different websites.
this makes the website more popular.
page rank is counted between 0 to 10.
page rank is changed after one or two months.

on other side, Alexa rank is counted from the traffic on particular website.
It is calculated by Alexa toolbar.
Alexa rank is changed daily repeatedly after one hour.

Pagerank gives particular designation of the webpage in the search engine which is 0-10 and its also depend on backlink of the webpage .Alexarank gives traffic over the site and its changed day to day.

PAGERANK is something that a lot of webmasters are looking at as they think that with HIGH PR, the returns for their links will be awesome but it is something that I think is no longer a factor in terms of getting your site in good SERP. A lot of websites are now ranking better than websites with HIGH PR. It means that your ALEXA rank could be high or low regardless of what your PR is.

Google page rank is depend on designation of your web page, no of quality back links. given by search engine. it will in 0-10 change 3-4 times in year.
When Alexa is depend on traffic of your site and it will change day by day.

Google PageRank is a ranking given by Google according to their reputation of websites in search engines, you can also say, as a tool for measuring popularity.

Alexa rating is very different from Google PageRank. Alexa rates each website in order for traffic from that particular website, the website most visited is the number 1 and then gives you rank in ascending order of millions, and the website can have a score in the tens of millions as well.

Page rank is based on quality backlinks which defined by google.. And alexa rank mentioned the traffic of the website.Its always changed everytime..

Google rank is a rank by Google depends on varies factors but Alex Rank is rank by the Alex algorithm, here main focus is given to the genuine traffic to the site. If the Google rank is more it is consider good and for Alex less is good.

Google page rank is a numeric value that google gives. A google rank of 10 and an alexa rank of 100,000 is good.
