Volunia – Radical New Search

An Italy-based search engine, Volunia, is gearing up for its early beta testing phase. Spearheaded by famed technology thinker Massimo Marchiori, it promises to provide a "radical new view" of search.

Marchiori claims that his new project "[is] a different perspective. It's a new radical view of what a search engine of the future could be." Volunia is poised to be the “fencer’s foil” to the “Google c**b”.

Google is of course gearing up for the new challenge, but have been left in the dark as Massimo has refused to give out any details at all regarding hoe the search engine is going to work.

Interestingly, it was Massimo’s idea of HyperSearch, presented in 1996 that inspired Google’s concept of PageRank.
