Spend a little cash to get the attention of your client base. This involves the methods we are all familiar with including mailers, business cards, car decals, advertising in print, radio, or on the web, a well made website, etc.

Utilize the internet for inexpensive marketing. This is where you're going to need perseverance. These methods take time to construct and bring to life.

a. Use Search Engine Optimization to get your website placed higher in a search query. Your placement in a search result is not random. The best web designers use specific SEO techniques to increase your chances of getting noticed.

b. Post a blog. Blog pages have several purposes. They attract search engines, which will generate more hits to your site. They are also one of many ways to establish yourself as an authority in your field. They also keep your current clients abreast of the latest company news.

c. Use social media outlets. This is an important marketing technique these days and involves constructing a web presence within forums and other social internet groups like Facebook and Twitter. This will generate more hits in search queries and generally increase awareness of your existence.

I think e-mail marketing is the most convenient way to attract new customers. Key to effective email campaigns, of course, is essential for the responsible use of: sending e-mail only to those who request it. Otherwise, you risk occurs as a spammer who can sink the reputation of your shop.

I like the Strategies you have mentioned here also i will add that customer Satisfaction is the Must for every Business , i think before making any product just take a survey for it from the customers and then it will increase your sales.

Give away Free Reports or eBooks with valuable info for them combined with info about your products and services.
Giving this valuable info away in different formats, in audio through for example podcasts or teleseminars and/or in video format.

Those video's don't have to be 'Block ****er' Movies more expensive to create than the latest James Bond Movie.
You can easily create a Photo Slide Show combined with text. That's how I created a 'Promo Video' from
vacation photo's from the upcomming sun, to inspire and motivate people for early morning jogging (on the beach) for
the visitors of my Healthy Lifestyle Blog.

With that in mind, tailor your email campaign to friends of existing customers by offering a discount to existing customers who sign up friends or family to receive your e-mails. Then, when you send the new contacts an e-mail, offer them a "new customer" discount.

As for content, many businesses send e-mail newsletters that mix store or community news with product information. It's probably best to avoid seeming too salesperson-like.

Some steps for attract the new customers :

I agree with most everything I see here, all pretty good recommendations. Just let potential customers know you exist, be prepared to make a good impression and let them know that you can provide quality products or service.

Look the part - Businessmen wear suits. Policemen carry guns. You are reading this article because we look the part. We effectively display our ability to attract new customers. You can do the same when you look the part.

Before start of the program present marketing activities and objectives will be outlined and listed in a detailed briefing. You be surprised at how many people break these simple rules. Sometimes I go exploring around my city and I find little out of the way businesses that I would have never known about before. They are good businesses with absolutely no exposure. So when I go back a few months later to see them again, they are out of business. It's very sad. They don't go out of business because they are bad at business, it's just that no one knew where they were so they never made enough money to stay open. You can't attract new customers when they don't know you exist.

I tend to target the customer who would stand a chance to at least have a look at it. Advertising will not be effective unless you target the area where there are chances to have the right customers for your services. This principle of mine has kept me going for sometime now.
