Hello,
Customers are the base of any business. So its the most important to make your customer happy. if one customer is pleased by your service than he automatically tell others about your services. Here are some more steps to attract customers:
1) Discounts:Offer sales and discounts frequently. Stock clearing sales won't just help you make profit on unsold goods; they also get you customers who will be impressed by your competitive prices. Not only will they come back, they will also bring other customers with them.
2) Keep an Eye on What the Customers Like:If the customer makes her interest in a particular product known to you, then watch out for similar products when they hit the market. Let the customer know when you have them. Chances are, the customer will be interested and you will get a repeat visit.
3) Insider Tipson't always look to make a profit. Always keep your customer's interest in mind. If you feel you can offer a better quality product at a cheaper rate than the one they are opting for, do so. You may make a little less the first time around, but when the customers returns, you will be the winner.
4) Be Specificon't vaguely hint at discounts and how the customer can get products at your store for cheaper rates. Tell them about special offers clearly. Being vague will not get you business, it will just be seen as a stunt to pull in more customers. If you can state clearly what kind of discounts you are offering, the customer will trust you more and drop in to try out your product.

Step 1
Host a grand opening or open house. Invite local business owners and residents from surrounding neighborhoods. Provide refreshments, drawings for door prizes, free merchandise samples, and have plenty of business cards and company brochures on hand.
Step 2
Monitor the quality of your services and products constantly. Satisfied customers who spread the word about your business are the best source of new customers. Pay attention to pricing, customer service, product availability and prompt delivery.

These are some very good tried and tested methods, but I try to keep it as simple as possible. I tend to target the customer who would stand a chance to at-least have a look at it. Advertising will not be effective unless you target the area where there are chances to have the right customers for your product or services. This principle of mine has kept me going for sometime now.

Generally, when a company is trying to generate sales leads, using only one tactic is not going to work. You need to mix it up – use traditional techniques like direct mailers along with electronic tactics like sending out e-newsletters.
Here are a few tips to get those sales leads you need:

1. Buy competent leads.

This is the easiest tactic – rent a reliable prospect list. By keeping up with the news, you can pinpoint businesses or individuals who might need your services. For instance, if you read a story about one of your competitors closing its doors, you know this is a great time to send out direct mail pieces on how you will fill the gap left by your competitor.
6. Attend a trade show.

Try to find a local trade show and pay to set up a booth. Trade shows are a great way to generate leads and to talk with complementary businesses about partnering, which can also increase your leads. Consumers who attend trade shows are there to find information, and you are just the person to give it to them!

2. Don't scare the customer - Make the customer feel comfortable with your product or service. Provide an environment that they will feel safe in. Make them feel good about spending their money. Don't scare the customer.

3. Look the part - Businessmen wear suits. Policemen carry guns. You are reading this article because we look the part. We effectively display our ability to attract new customers. You can do the same when you look the part.

# Reduce your customers risk. Give them 100% satisfaction guaranteed, because do you really deserve to keep their money if your product or services hasn't delivered what you promised?

# Give them free samples, free 10 day trials, free, no risk 'pay me when you are satisifed' periods.

# Give a FREE Seminar, but remember to give it plenty of advertising via postcard invitations, radio maybe, and don't forget that cable TV advertising can be very reasonably priced for local events.

# Invite your existing base to give you referrals or introductions.

# CROSS PROMOTIONS / Cross Endorsements: Find another product or service you believe in, and offer to endorse them, in exchange for them endorsing your product.

Business travellers and people on holiday may not be familiar enough with your town to know where to find an excellent meal. You can give them a hand simply by doing some hotel room marketing.
