Just wanted to know from anyone who may be currently be using exit popups. How effective are popups when used on your website? Do they work or they are a waste of time?

They can be used to increase traffic but not as effective as was the case years back. Google updates every year are constantly affecting things.

You can use them but be extremely careful how you use them to avoid coming across as repulsive.
Make sure your pop-up strategy is well thought out and is built in such a manner that it encourages visitors to act.
