Yahoo has successfully completed the transformation of its backend algos into Bing’s in all global markets except that in Korea. The transformation has been made across desktop and mobile, for all Yahoo! and syndication traffic. In Korea, the main hurdle remains the three-way alliance between Yahoo!, Bing and Daum and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

I haven't heard of that one before. Well, after checking out with compete for the data of yahoo, bing and google, Yahoo is not really that far off that of Google's traffic. but, I guess there are specific and certain services from google that yahoo nor bing can compete with.

Nice to hear that, Yahoo first algorithm was very easy to manipulate, it used to count even nofollow links.
