I agree with Kavin Paulson. It really depends on the nature of your business, and what your target market wants. Both social platforms can be highly effective for helping you build relationships with your prospects and clients. I have both Twitter and Facebook, and I notice that there are different people on both. On my Twitter I connect with my colleagues , other Internet Marketers, and on Facebook, I am interacting with potential clients and a mixture of my colleagues. However, you can synch Twitter w/Facebook and vice versa so your followers and fans will have the option to join either network.

It all comes down to what you like best and which one is giving you a better R.O.E ( Return on Engagement, which can lead to higher profits).

I think for business purpose facebook is to be good for you..cause through facebook business page, you can receive valuable information about the fans and make them participate in your company. Through that you can also convert prospects into account the customer ultimately increase sales...

Twitter is best for business. Twitter is designed to build community. It can easy be used for advertising. But Facebook is designed to keep track of friends. It is still not effectively using for business.

Facebook is the second best social media marketing. It has many good features, such as to create a fan site, download videos, post classified ads, promote your business, more friends, chating, Face Book API. etc. Yes, I have always preferred to propose and for all. thanks!

Although Face Book can be regarded more popular than Twitter yet Twitter can easily beat face book in commercial & marketing activities. In this respect we can count Twitter as more commercial forum rather social community hub.

Both Facebook and Twitter effectively target the population . Facebook, however, currently boosts a significant rise in the number of boomers using the platform. As far as consumer use goes, however, for business to consumer purchases, the demographics are similar. Both attract mid-to-older players, with higher education and income.

As a Facebook fanatical I must say that is what I will employ over twitter. Hands Down! Face book seems to offer so much more that twitter in a side by side comparison.

In my opinion Facebook is better for business. Face book is a bit more popular then Twitter. And also facebook is good for increasing traffic. I think its a next network hub for business.
