As a facebook fanatic I must say that is what I will use over twitter. Hands Down! Face book seems to offer so much more that twitter in a side by side comparison. Not to mention it's popularity.

Actually, I have a Facebook account.
Have had it for years, when they first opened up.
But it just sits there....

Now twitter, I enjoy.
I follow great people (bunch of women!) and a bunch follow me.
It is great for getting traffic to sites.
But one must know how to use twitter to get followers to click on links.

I'm not particularly interested in having a personal Facebook account. But I must tell you that Facebook is a great tool for businesses who want to use social media. And Facebook has come a long way and is now courting business users with special business accounts.

I think both are the best one Facebook is old and powerful with lots of features while twitter is new but soon make a place among us and good for increasing traffic.would suggest to use both. They are next network hub for business.

Actually both twitter and face book can be effective. It depends on the nature of your business, your target audience and how you want to connect with them. If you want to maintain a kind of relationship with your customers and keep in constant touch with them, then face book will serve your purpose, like many restaurants connect with their customers through face book, they even book tables through face book. If just need a platform to promote your company, inform about your company's products, new releases and launches etc then twitter is good for that. Through twitter you can build a network faster than face book even if you don't have too many contacts.

I would like to recommend face book for business point of views because now has more than one hundred million members, so the best way to let people know about you and your eBook is to start your own group. You can use the title of your eBook as the title of the group you create, provided it is filled with your keywords.

Among Both the sites Twitter and Facebook, as both are good social networking sites just the difference is that Face book is a bit more popular then Twitter, even Twitter Has Good Advertising Strategies by Adding the followers.

I prefer twitter,because that is the most effective social media to more important to valuable traffic.I also like it because of some awesome features of it like:
Auto Complete in Tweets
Text links in tweets
Display meta data through hover tooltips
Use the sidebar more effectively to display information

According to facebook is the best way to social media marketing. It's a lot of good features like create fan page, upload video file, Post classified ads, Promote your business, add friends, chating, Face book API. etc. That's I'm always prefer and suggest to all. thanks !!

i would prefer Facebook because it has much better options than twitter. Both Twitter and Facebook are simply communication tools and both will continue to evolve and morph as users find new ways to extract value and either network may or may become a long term winner in the rapidly evolving social networking space.

People and companies who are good at social marketing approach it through multiple venues. In their approach, they might include a Facebook page, Twitter, and Squidoo, for example. Definitely depends on what your trying to do. I prefer facebook because of the ability to have user specific advertisements as well as a wealth of information for clients/users to browse through. On the current website I'm working on, Facebook has gotten me the most amount of conversions/impressions. Twitter is great but facebook everytime when dealing with a smaller business.

I use Twitter and Facebook tweetmeme As Widget, but Someone just recommended Digg plugin that works with many social networks, which I hope to see if I can always find time to make some changes to my website.
