It depends on what aspect you want to learn about. If all your interested in is PPC then you can use the Google adwords learning center - http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/static.py?hl=en_uk&page=learningcenter.cs . If you are more interested in learning about SEO then I would checkout Aaron Wall's SEO Book - http://www.seobook.com/ .

Those are good starting points for you to learn the basics. Let me know if this helped any.

Hi! What most forget about marketing on line is that it's really just like your typical 'bricks and mortar' business. That is people want to get to know, trust and like you. From there, it's a matter of building a relationship with your visitors. You become the expert in your field and they look at you as the 'go-to' person in your market. Let’s face it… As a beginner you may struggle a little in the beginning but I encourage you to simply get started with the following.

When you look for a company to help you with a course I would ask the following questions to make sure you get something that is right for you and that you are totally comfortable with.

Question 1:
Is your program for total new comers and will you guarantee it in writing?

Question 2:
Do I have phone access to help when I get stuck and do you also put that in writing?

Question 3:
What makes you better than the multitude of other companies who also promise their course is the best?

Question 4:
Are the lessons at least 5 days a week of are the lessons only once a week? I would expect no less that 3 times a week. If they don’t I would move on.

By asking these questions you will eliminate many of the liars and cheaters who only are looking at a big fat commission check at the end of the week for making sales to people like you.

Also make sure they have video tutorials that go over what you learn in the lessons… Video is a great help.

You can’t beet a good internet marketing coach.

Hello friends

My first attempts at network marketing were dismal, to say the least. After many years of trying different products and organizations I finally unlocked the secret. The secret is there is no secret!

Each time I joined an MLM business or network marketing opportunity I was very excited and ready to take over the world, only to be disappointed not long after. I was always shy and afraid to talk to people, both in person and on the phone. It was not until I was paralyzed diving at the beach that I became much more open and confident.

I know this sounds weird, it does to me to. It is probably more common to hide from society, at least in the beginning until being paralyzed is accepted. My accident taught me to not take things for granted, life is full of twists and turns.

I have been using the internet for some time, looking for some type of opportunity that would provide an income for me. Being disabled, it is hard find a job that will work with your medical issues, and without an income other than disability it is hard to buy the necessary items needed because of my disability.

So, as I was surfing the internet, I came across something which totally changed my way of thinking when it came to network marketing. The program is called Magnetic Sponsoring. As soon as I started watching the free video boot camp and eventually reading the ebook, I finally had that "ah ha" moment. It was so clear to me, I was the problem, not the product or the opportunity.

You hit the nail on the head. Mentoring is a the fast track to learning internet marketing. If you want to learn from the best like Frank Kern ,Russel Brunson. Ryan Deiss, Jim Edwards, Mike Filsaime to name a few, It might cost you a little to go to their seminars but in the long run you will be miles ahead in your learning curve. If you can't attend their live seminars, make sure you sign up for their webinars in most cases free & try to understand the techniques they are using.
