I often hear the term "link juice" in SEO. What does it mean? How can we get it and what benefit we can get from it?

Basically it's any time you get a backlink to your site from another site. Backlinks from good sites give you more link juice. Google looks at how sites link to each other to figure out which ones are the best, so the more link juice you have the better off you are.

Google looks how sites are link to each other to figure out which ones are the best, and have more link juice. You can get link juice from a variety of sources, but link juice is by far the most important aspect of dominating Google. In other words, it’s the secret sauce that allows you to beat your competitors.

As on my knowledge linkjuice is high PR website can passing a little bit juice to other lower PR website, means thant if you have PR0 web and you put your link at any other high pr rank site, it will give some link juice and the PR0 will increase ranking and PR slowly..

Re: What exactly is a "link juice"?

Link juice is a term that webmasters created some years ago to describe the passing of link values from one site to another. It is the same as to what they call the distribution of page rank. Lets take in a simple sample. If you have one site linking your website and that one site doesn't have any pages or other links on it's single homepage, then possibilities are you'd get half of the value of that page's page rank. you can check out wiki for a more detailed formula.
