Social bookmarking and Traffic

though it is seen that social bookmarking is a good way to increase traffic and conversions, this doesn't last for long. Is there any ways that we can continuously maintain the traffic for some more period?

Re: Social bookmarking and Traffic

Unfortunately social networking provides a lot of hits but few customers in our experience. Most people have a casual interest in site versus an active seeker of a product or service.

Re: Social bookmarking and Traffic

I had experienced some conversions after I bookmarked to 100 websites hiring a person/freelancer. The amount paid to him was worth. But, the traffic is not continuing for long. I want to stretch the period a bit more.

If the amount you paid to him was worth the investment you may want to consider continuing the effort. Many times you will get some initial hits after you link up and because people want to see the site then it trails off - however you still get residual people looking at your site if that residual continues to grow and you are getting a return on your investment it may be worth continuing.

Re: Social bookmarking and Traffic

Thank you, - and I hope to get continued traffic. I also plan to submit using several hired people one by one to do this on a one-by-one basis from different IP's. Will it be helpful?
