Page rank is also an important factor. If the page content where a link to your website is located has nothing to do with the content of your page then the link is not considered to be relevant.Enhance your site with quality content. There are many ways of link building like directory submission, social bookmarking, forum posing, article submission, classified ads, blog posting, blog commenting, profile creation and Guest blogging. Directory Submission takes too much time for approve our link, but once it approved it would be a stable and strong backlink. Some people are putting links inside of blog posts. Google said that these links carry more weight than footer links. However, I still think blogroll link exchange works well in many cases (based on case studies). However, blog post links might be better. However, I'd have to study some case examples.
