you can use 2 way and 3 way link building techniques. Link exchange is better technique to build quality links.

For generate more link building you can use SEO techniques like blog commenting with fresh content, forum posting with proper signature and meaningful content, article writing with powerful keyword, directory submission, social book marking etc. That techniques provide you more and high quality backlinks.
