Is it still valuable to exchange links with other related sites from an SEO perspective? I'm not really an expert on this but I don't think it increases the traffic to my site very much from what I've seen. I've been reading a lot about "one way" links, could somebody please explain this and how to do it? Thanks in advance.
Re: Does Link Exchange Still Work?
If the link exchange is on the front or high traffic sites. Then it will really help.
Re: Does Link Exchange Still Work?
Link exchange still works but it will be more useful if you exchange the links with the site that are high pr and relevant your site. In terms of traffic link exchange has always worked well but still one way links works more better than this.
Re: Does Link Exchange Still Work?
Link exchange still works but to less extent to which it was getting work previously, actually now a days people moving more towards one way link as link exchange in more is considered as a bad techniques.
Re: Does Link Exchange Still Work?
Be careful what sites you send links to as well. I can’t prove this, but it make sense to me if your site is seen sending a lot of links to sites that are prime candidates for search engine penalties (for whatever reasons), you might suck up some of the penalty too. This is especially important for you bloggers selling text links – I make this mistake myself – check every site that buys a link from your blog to see what you are endorsing.
