Dart is a programming language developed at Google and approved as a standard by Ecma. It is ideal for web development and can be trans-compiled to JavaScript, but can also be used to build server, desktop, and mobile applications. Dart is designed with a ‘batteries included’ philosophy and minimizes magic, such as automatic type coercion in order to avoid surprises when developing large applications.
