Hello everyone...
Just wanted to introduce myself... Just found your forum and it seems really interesting.I am Maria Tamis and I am 35 year old. I am here for getting some information.
I have had a single person consulting (Engineering) business for several years. I have more work than I can do and I am turning away new work from existing clients because there are no more hours in the week.
I am looking for pointers concerning the issues involved in transitioning from a single person consulting business to a multiple person business. I have prior experience managing projects/groups back in the old days when I was an employee.
I am not interested in becoming a middleman for other consultants. I want to grow the company so that I can take on larger and more projects.
Re: Growing beyond a single person consulting business
For spreading your business you have to spread your professional circle and start adding more people. You should have the quality of proper management of resources as well as time.
