Has anyone tried affiliate marketing. In looking at some of the site i.e. clickbank most of the items being sold do not look like the highest quality. Can you make money through affiliates?

We tired it and quickly abandoned it when we did not make any sales it was a waste of time and money

We have not used the affiliate "banks" before but we have done some private affiliations. We usually take about a 50% cut of the sale. It works out pretty well although I think they prefer to sell it on their own and get the other 50% at the end of the day they make more sales.

Why do you think it did not work for you and it has worked for others - any experiences you can share?

Rather than using click bank or an affiliate product bank I would suggest you find the products that best match the products you sell now and approach the vendors and ask them if you can sell their products
