why do you need an Assets Batches and a Portfolio Item?

My husband and I are searching for creative ways to get our business name out there to people/companies. we have a platform for web design located at
www.usavtours.com/about

We have flyers, and are getting business CD cards. And alot of our sales are "door to door". But we would like to expand more quickly to a larger area, and would love feed back on how to do this, and also if anyone would go to our site and give me reviews if anything needs to altered, added......
to make it more marketable.

Hello friends

When you add a computer to the Computer tab why do you need an Assets & Batches and a Portfolio Item? It just seems like you are creating 3 records where 1 record would do the trick. Am I missing something? If I break the link and just enter computers without A&B and Portfolio Items records what kind of functionality will I be giving up?
