The comparison of both sites is actually difficult,it depends on situation.So I prefer to submit as many article directories as possible because it expand the backlinks over the largest number of IP addresses.

Ezinearticle is the best any other than. Ezine verifies the quality of article is very strictly.

Go for wikihow.com is the best i have ever done hand to hand approve article and give back link too. 🙂

I would suggest you use both of them, just post unique articles on both Squidoo and Ezinearticles.
