Some people make an awesome amount of money promoting other people's products.

However... at the end of the day you are helping other people build their lists of customers and clients. They get to resell to them and they get them for life (if they look after them).

Saying that, affiliate marketing is very very scalable and you don't get bogged down in the delivery of products and services.

There are many positives about affiliate marketing. For example you have little responsibility, no need to answer any customers questions, you do not deal with payments, huge choice of affiliate products, little or none investment needed etc. But there are also some negatives. For example if you are promoting some product and make money with it and suddenly the vendor decides to eliminate the product, then you stop making money. You also have to work harder as an affiliate, then owning your own product.
