Re: Tags on images

Using keywords and keyword phrases in the alt tag is one area where you can legally add those important keywords.

Re: Tags on images

The tag embeds an image in an HTML page.

Notice that images are not technically inserted into an HTML page, images are linked to HTML pages. The tag creates a holding space for the referenced image.

The tag has two required attributes: src and alt.

Re: Tags on images

The more effective method, at least in my opinion, is through an SEO course. Admittedly it would cost you from a few dollars to even hundreds of dollars, depending on the quality of course and the reputation of the Another way of using this tag that can benefit your website is Google images. Using the alt tag can help you show up in Google images for your chosen keyphrases. For example if you sell tweed jackets if you have this keyphrase in the image of your tweed jacket this will help it show up in Google images. Although to further help you appearing in Google images the actual file name of the image should also be tweed jackets.
