Hi to all.Im thinking if I would host my site in my home what is your preffered server?
I saw apache is the most popular one.Do you think this is reliable other than micosoft hosting server?

I read somewhere that apache is running on over 34 million servers, that is more than Microsoft, Sun One and Zeus combined. If that means anything I think apache is a good choice. With that many users it must have good qualities. I couldn't say about microsoft.

I'm really not sure why anyone would want to run a web server at home, when it's so inexpensive to use a professional data center. If you're thinking it might be a fun hobby, something to keep you off the streets and out of trouble, maybe, but for your average small business owner it's really a waste of your time and resources to try to do that.
