I have a question I'm hoping someone from here will be able to shed a little light on.
I'm in the process of setting up my own on-line business and I've purchased my domain, but unfortunately I could only buy the '.co.uk' extension as '.com' had already been purchased a while ago.
I've contacted the American owner of the '.com' site to see if he was at all interested in selling it as I had noticed that there had been no update for quite some time, to tell the truth it's pretty much just a personalised under contraction site, but he wanted an unreasonable amount of money for it.
Re: Not owning the '.com' domain

So you don't have any choices. He has the right to own the dot com domain, and we can't force him to sell it.
