I don't think so i can be much of help to you.

But I liked the idea, many people don't know how to fix their system on their own. A service like that would come very handy to many.

Since it is a loclized service along with the local offline media you can make use of criaglist like online classifieds too.

Printing some visiting cards and distributing it to your folks, known people and shop owners whom you come across day to day, can give you a start.

I would strongly recommend only going into business with someone that you trust with your bank account. Starting a business carries a lot of risk and you need a partner you can count on to carry their weight. Running a business from a home office is a great way to save some money in the early going. And if you set is up right, you can get a deduction for it (in the US).

The best forms of marketing your business vary by industry. If you are offering to go to people's homes or offices as a consultant, you need to build trust and accountability into your marketing strategy. Online ad campaigns can reach a lot of people, but you should also do some personal networking around your location to boost the awareness of your company. Make calls to small business owners directly, or participate in small business groups in your community and work on gradually building up your reputation.

which a customer a product that he gets a chance to become a sales associate to sell or to promote themselves can be time consuming. When someone buys a product recommended by the sales partner receives a commission for himself.

As far as how well you them is up to you. Lots of businesses are started from the home. I would also recommend a getting mobile merchant account.

1. I think that you knowing the person is up to you, make sure that you have an llc so that all the partnership information is clearly stated, and if there is a problem in the future that the company is liable and that you are protected. I would also make sure that you have a lawyer on retainer to turn to with any questions so that you are not just winging it as you go.

2.Don't see why you could't run it out of a home office, if you are not going to have people coming to you with equipment then it shouldn't be a problem. You will be limiting yourself if you ever need to bring a computer or device home with you for an extended fix, or do you plan on doing all of the repairs at their home or office? Do you have a plan in place if you can not fix the problem in one visit?

3. Progressive Financing I believe has a nice set up for merchants, I know that they not only based on credit so you may get a lot more business that way. We use them for some of our financing we a client is in need and have had great results with them.

4. I would say start by advertising on whatever vehicle that you are going to be using to get to and from each location. What better way to say mobile than to have it posted on your vehicle. The next thing that I would look in to would be all of the neighborhood newsletters that come out, we have a few clients that have done will with that, especially since you are marketing a home service.

You should know the person well enough to know if he's a person you would be comfortable leaving your most trusted assets with, say while you go on vacation.

You can run it out of a home office as long as you have the necessary tools should you need to bring things that you may not be able to fix on the spot back home.

Being that its a local business, you should have your business listed on all the local listings for major search engines.
