Looking for software for adding small sceenshots to my site.

I am building a website where I'd like to leave suggestions of other sites that helped me.

I am looking for free software where I can post little screen shots ( thumbnail like) of active sites.

Thanks in advance.

Ashampoo makes a product called Snap4 it is able to screen capture, it even captures video. There's a 40 day trial of the program. I dont own it but I do have some of ashampoos other software. I'm a big fan of just hitting Ctrl + prnt sc on the keyboard and pasting that into photoshop, or whatever image editor you have. I then crop or resize the image.

There is a product by Tech Smith called Snagit (ver 10) Screen Capture that is good and costs $49.95 USD.

It will work on any screen on your PC.
I personally just do a Print Screen (Ctrl + PrtScn) and paste it to paintshop or to a word document and crop it. Cropping is found in the Format menu and allows you to trim up the edges.

Free Solution:
If you want to grab stuff from the web, using the FireFox browser have a look for the add-on tool
Pixlr Grabber, its FREE and this is the one I use.

Go to the top menu in FireFox > Tools > Add-ons > Get Add-ons > In the search box type - Pixlr Grabber

You will need to restart FireFox when your finished.

Once its booted again look in the bottom right of the screen for a "G" in a yellow and brown box logo.
Click the arrow next to it and play with the different options.

The bottom 3 options are the tools, the other 3 are online editing tools.

I HIGHLY recommend Snagit as well. It's a GREAT investment of $50.

I've been using ScreenshotCaptor for a couple of years, and it's totally free.
