Don't waste time looking for tools as Mr. Google offers us a free tool called Google Adwords.
You can sign up with your Google account.
In this tool u can look up keyword trends and compare keyword's competition.

yes agree with Google Adwords is best tool for keyword research & its also helpful to known the keyword competition of the web..
