What is duplicate contents?
Which appears on the internet in more then one place (url). This is a problem because when there are more than one piece of identical content on the internet, It is difficult for search engine to decide which version is more relevant to give search query. To provide the best search query and best experience, search engine will rarely show multiple, duplicate pieces of content and thus are forced to choose which version is most likely to be the original. You can recognize it through:

It Should be printer friendly.

Thanks for sharing this information and sometimes duplicate content happens when someone tries to create more seats for the same niche. For example, if you created five blogs on dog training and even posted the article on the five blogs, Google may choose to ignore four of the sites in its index, or it may decide that this practice is misleading and simply block all five sites.

Duplicate content is a term used in the field of search engine optimization to describe content that appears on more than one web page, within the same web site. When multiple pages within a web site contain essentially the same content, search engines such as Google can penalise/not display that site in any relevant search results.

Duplicate contents are the contents that are copy and paste from somewhere else sites.Google considers it as spamming.

What is this based on. The actual post, metatags, or what? I see multiple listings all the time. Many items on sites like ask.com and wikianswers have identical answers when you put a question in Google. It does not cut out one or the other and I have never heard of this before.
