Don’t Deceive Search Engines.

A few months ago I posted a brief guide of "five do's SEO" offers a list of things not to do when designing the site. These guidelines include how "to do " common suggestions from Google to help you keep your site compatible with the webmaster guidelines of your search engines. Every month I'll go more in-depth with each recommendation. This topic of the month: not to deceive search engines.

Everyone wants to be a high ranking in search engines, and unfortunately, some obey the philosophy of "false, fraudulent or stolen" their way to the top. These include advanced level tricks:

1. Hidden text.
2. Hidden links.
3. Cloaking.
4. Sneaky redirects.

The easiest way not to cheat the search engines is to make sure your site is relevant in fact the conditions that you are trying to show up. This, of course, easier said than done, but focus on making your site more relevant for your consumer is what will ultimately add to your bottom line.
