Advantages
• menu and other navigation updates automatically
• ability to have visitors comment and otherwise interact
• ability to have multiple writers and different access rules for different users
• ability to reuse design components more easily and propagate changes sitewide.
• ability to integrate search, though you can achieve much the same with google Custom Search.

Disadvantages
• more vulnerable and must keep up with security fixes
• uses more server resources
• more complex to run and manage.

The CMS is very good.My site was made by cms templates, I felt the cms really easy to do, but it also had some problems.I know everything has its advantages and disadvantages,I hope the cms can prove some days later.

Thanks for sharing this useful information , CMS is really useful for you and you should make sure about it's advantage, it's allow you to maintain your site content and data recovery and lots of thing that useful for you.
