Don't put your web page on the internet. Works great!
All other methods are easily defeated by your average toddler.
They do, however, annoy the heck out of legitimate users.

There is a guy in Australia named Steve who i beleive is also a member here, who is an absolutly brilliant SEO, you can find more information here http://www.webseo.com.au/

I cannot give you a specific recommendation but I would look at the page ranking of their site and where do they rank on the pages for seo consultant for example. If they get there site ranked high against their competitors, they will likely have the ability to get you highly ranked.
