Re: Can Affiliate Sites Rank Well On Google?

Hi

There is no reason why an affiliate site can't rank well on Google. But algorithm changes may make it more challenging.

Example:

Those who merely put up pages to display affiliate products, without any original content will find it hard to rank. Those who use merchant supplied descriptions may find it hard to rank and those who start new sites purely for the sake of creating affiliate (money-making) pages, may find it hard to rank.

It is important to add value for your visitors and provide high-quality, original information that is useful and your visitors love.

Visitor behavior is becoming more important than ever. Mechanical methods of SEOing pages and/or getting backlinks to manipulate search engine rank is coming to an end.

Add value, keep it real and wow your human visitors. Then provide affiliate offerings if they help your visitors. Money-motivation is a sure way of getting a visit from Google's Panda algorithm.

Re: Can Affiliate Sites Rank Well On Google?

I have seen some of my affiliates rank well in Google but not all of them. An affiliate website is the same as to other website (except for bold sites). if you are worthy to rank well or high in google, they will give it to you (that is in contrast with all of the competitors of course)
