Hi there,
Title and description tags are still very important for SEO, especially the title tag. One thing to think about is that both the title and description tags are what results appears in the search. So if you are lucky enough to get ranked on the search results page, you want to tell the searcher as much about your site as possible in via both the title & description tags.
