advantages to paid hosting

While, most people would rather have free hosting for their sites, there are a lot of advantages to paid hosting that many people neglect to realize. With free hosting, you are given a limited amount of space for your website. With this limited amount of space, you may not be able to include everything that you desire onto your page.

But, paid services are fairly flexible when it comes to giving you a large amount of space to work with for the storage of your web page. A lot of the paid services will also give you the opportunity to obtain a domain name for your site. A domain name is normally accompanied by a dot com on the end of it, and is one of the prime things that most business owners opt to obtain.

Your point is absolutely true, alvin. Especially when it is about hosting our business.

Re: advantages to paid hosting

The most inportant advantage of paid web hosting is that you can host your own domain. If you decide to change the web hosting provider in the future, you easily transfer the domain to the new provider and don’t loose your traffic.

I'm currently using a free hosting service and able to put ads on my site, however, you're right about not owning the site when it's free which means they can terminate the service at any time and no questions asked. Sigh....well, I guess I just have to hang on a little longer enjoying the free service until I see some earnings happening and then move on to paid services.

Re: advantages to paid hosting

Hi

The decision to pay for web hosting or not has gotten a lot of debates from a plethora of people. The term web hosting simply refers to a service that allows individuals to place their websites onto their particular servers. These services make it possible for people that are using the internet to be able to view your website.

There are a lot of different web hosting services available on the internet. However, even though there are a lot of companies that offer their services there are only two types of services available for individuals. There are paid services and there are free services.

All of the data that you list on your site will be saved onto a large server, and individuals will have the opportunity to visit your site as they please. The difference between a free hosting company and a paid hosting company is actually a lot more complicated then the monetary part of the arrangement.

Thanks
