Hello Friends

A warranty is an undertaking given to a purchaser by a seller that a product is reliable and free from defects. The seller further undertakes that he will, without charge, repair or replace defective parts or replace the entire product if the product turns out to be defective within a given period. Certain specified conditions may have to be met before the warranty is enforceable.

Re: What is a warranty?

Hi

Warranties are similar to guarantees, in that they provide a legally-binding assurance that any problems caused by manufacturing defects during a set period will be remedied.

However, unlike guarantees, the customer normally pays for this extra protection. For example, electrical retailers often offer to sell a warranty on their products which covers accidental damage, the cost of repairs and replacement parts.

Thanks

Re: What is a warranty?

A warranty is aaa statement by the seller or manufacturer of aaa product that it will perform in the manner specified. Warranties exist on numerous products, from small electronics, to infomercial products, to homes and automobiles. Either the seller or the manufacturer dictates the extent to which warranties apply.

Some warranties also apply to certain types of services. For instance if you get new brakes on your car, the work and materials may be guaranteed to work appropriately for aaa specified time period or aaa specified number of miles. Many products can be sold “as is” which means any problems with the product will not be covered by warranty.
