Need help with organizing new business

I recently started a pool repair and maintenance business based out of my house. I am too the point where I need a system to organize my daily routes and remind me when a monthly service contract needs to be renewed.

Also, I use Quickbooks and need to keep information on all of my customers such as equipment info, pool size, notes, etc etc. I am not sure if I can do this from within QB or if I can integrate it with database software.

Paul, I used QB several years ago. I believe there are several add-on modules involving contracting. Surely one of those would serve your purposes with their scheduling and project management features. Check out their site.

Do you always collect the email addresses of your customers? Your list is the most important business asset, if you use it effectively. AND it's so inexpensive compared to other advertising.

There are a couple of free e-courses you can get from the link in my signature that apply to small businesses.
