I have always been skeptical about marketing systems but in a moment of weakness I bought this one. And I have to give credit where credits due. It really works, I've made almost $60,000 using these strategies in less then 4 months.

Hello,
There are some website that lets anyone to insert business in order to promote it.
In most cases there is only a description to insert. It helps to raise the visibility of the website of the company and increase the rank on search engines (you will have more links/references to your website).
A short list of sites:
alibaba.com - sell products, good traffic. Best for China.
attest.us - description, jobs, services and news. Needs other company validation
business.com - only description, good traffic, lot of ads on search
dmoz.com - moderators adds the website, yahoo! and google uses it in its search results
hotfrog.com - description with ads. Best for Australia (hotfrog.com.au)
yellowpages.com - includes mobile version

What may be relevant is that getting links to your site on every sort of directory around doesn't necessarily have a positive effect on your search engine rank.
The quality of your incoming links does matter -- especially to actual page rank.
