What business can I start that requires practical/technical skills?

(@Anonymous)

I'm interested in starting my own business, but I'm quite stumped on the types of businesses I could start up. I like to be practical and I also have a lot of technical skills. I don't mind risk/danger.

Thanks

Re: What business can I start that requires practical/technical skills?

Thanks for asking your question,

It goes without saying that there are many types of Businesses that you could start up. Personally I like Affiliate Marketing

'Because I do think that it can help a lot
when you really enjoy what you do'.

I enjoy writing, and you can read all about it on my Writing Blog, I even wrote a tiny little eBook, a downloadable one in PDF-format. In the proces of creating a Blog to promote this little eBook (and being able to receive feedback from readers) I discovered a possibility to also (pre) sell 'Other Peoples Products' while receiving a commission for it, that's what Affilate Marketing is about.

It actually inspired me to make a special Blog for people like YOU about 'The Home Business Lifestyle'
Also for Affiliate Marketing it can be very useful when your practical and have (computer) technical skills.

All the Best,

Re: What business can I start that requires practical/technical skills?

That's exactly what Affiliate Marketing is all about,

The nice thing about it is that you can set it up with hardly any startup costs or
financial requirements. You don't need external support (like for example with MLM)
You only need to sign-up to an Affiliate Program or Affiliate Programs that you like.

'And within a few minutes
you can creat a Blog and Start Blogging and Start Selling .....,'

(you can do a simple search to find free blogging platforms)

Than you can simply write about topics you are passionate about while (pre) selling topic related products or services. (for example on my Home Business Lifestyle Blog I like to write about making money with Affiliate Marketing, and on my Writing Blog I write about the Writing Craft, (pre) selling books about Writing and also Coffee Makers and Espresso Machines. I also have several other Blogs about for example Travel, Movies & Music and a few others.)

'That is how it works....,'

While you write about things you already like to write about, in the process your pre-sell other peoples products and get a commision for it, not having to deal with complicated things like credit card processing or customer service because all you do is - with your writing - bring people to a webshop.

'That's Basically it!'

For what 'Content Creation' is concerned while some time ago a lot of posts where somewhat isolated topics, I nowaday's aim to write more 'Continuing Posts' more like one continuing story, more like a 'Travel Story' or Journey, that hopefully makes it more recognisable and compelling for the Guests on my Blog(s).

An other benefit from selling online is that you can easily get feedback from
the Guests on my Blog(s) making it possible to constantly make new improvements.

All the Best,

hi all

If you have good command in any programming language and are familiar with HTML, CSS, you can start your own website development . It is not at all necessary to mug up all Programming languages, you can begin with any one. Now-a-days PHP is widely used for this purpose .
PHP is an open source so starting your website development using PHP can be beneficial for you.

Do you have anything you are passionate about? Are there anything you are good at? These are things you need to be looking at, being that you are flexible in your options you should choose something that you enjoy doing, because in business once the initial motivation fades you still want to be able to put in everything you got into your business.
