Re: Tips for Business Success

Join professional business organizations. Career maintenance and the networking related to it will pay off.
Be a volunteer for community service, starting now. Recruiters believe if you give that extra two cents while you are a student, then you will likely give that extra two cents to the company.
Continually update your address, telephone, and e-mail information. Networking is an important key to success.
Join student clubs and take a leadership role. Leadership is the key to moving up in the business world.
Cultivate friendships among all the students in your major. You may need this network later on.
Develop a good rapport with at least one of your major professors. Make sure they know you and your career objectives.
Be attentive to details. It is not long in life before you will discover it is the little things that make the big difference.
Excuses for submitting reports and other paperwork late don't get it in business----nor do they in classes. If you can't handle the load, lighten up by dropping a class, or reducing work hours. Time management skills are strong indicators of your ability to manage the tasks involved in your intended career.

Re: Tips for Business Success

Hello
Some of the world's most famous and profitable businesses were started by students. Microsoft began in Bill Gates' Harvard dorm room, Google got its start on the Stanford campus as the computer science project of doctoral students Sergey Brin and Larry Page and thousands of other student companies thrive in every industry.

Even if you're not aiming to be another Bill Gates - maybe you just want to earn some extra cash with a summer landscaping business - you'll have to navigate some unique challenges as a young entrepreneur testing the business waters. Here are 10 success tips for young entrepreneurs.

1. Do what you love.

All successful * businesses have one factor in common: Their owners love what they do - so choose a line of business that aligns with your interests, no matter what they are.

2. Know what you want.

Are you willing to leave school if your business takes off? Or do you envision your business as a side project? Being able to answer questions like these will help you organize your time and priorities.

3. Be radical...

In your late *s and early 20s, your thinking is fresh, original and full of energy. Don't be afraid to try something no one's ever done, create an off-the-wall product or shake up an existing market by changing factors (such as a service or delivery model) that established companies take for granted.

Re: Tips for Business Success

Hello Friends,
When some people think about work at home businesses they think about middle aged white men ambitiously trying to sell each other products that they don’t really . Nevertheless, nowadays is very different than what individuals might conceive of it to be.First there is a ton of diversity in the network marketing arena. Men, women, young, old, every race, every background and every education type, for every type of person you can think of, there is someone who is successful in a Network Marketing business. There is certainly, without a doubt, a lot of interest in owning a real home based business from young people, both male and female, in their mid 20’s these days. Whether they want to make a Network Marketing business opportunity their full time calling or they just want to make extra money, more and more 20 something’s are being drawn to this energizing and alluring industry. Why would they consider a work from home business? One of the reasons so many people in their mid to late 20’s are now interested in working for themselves, is because they’ve experienced the lunacy of their parents ways. More and more individuals are getting canned all the time and young people are realizing what that can do to a family who counts on a regular income.
Thanks.

Re: Tips for Business Success

Hi guys

# To begin with, ever trip begins with a single step. This journey is no different. You have to determine to take action however small.
# Be consistent, not only must you take the first step, but you must stay focused and engaged in reaching your goal. Take some step every day if possible. If you can't do something every day, then take some step once per month.
# Begin operating on a cash basis. Reduce your expenses, down size your life, and accept less to establish positive cash flow. Complete a shortsale of your home. Negotiate down your credit card principal balances or payment terms in exchange for making the accounts inactive. If your situation is bad enough, you may even consider bankruptcy. In general, work with your credit and creditors to stop debt growth.# To begin with, ever trip begins with a single step. This journey is no different. You have to determine to take action however small.

Thanks for al friends

Re: Tips for Business Success

Hello
Habit 1. Cultivate Inner Networks: Entrepreneurs practicing the art of business success know the power of networks. They take the time to identify and build relationships with key peers, mentors, and advisors. This inner network provides support, direction, and an increased number of people to assist. Having an inner network of five people who have a network of five more, grows the network exponentially.

Habit 2. Customer Centric: Business success requires an unwavering commitment to the customer. This commitment encompasses a mindset of understanding the customers' world. Understanding the customers wants and needs provides the business with a greater opportunity to earn a loyal customer base. Focus away from business and profits, and toward what you can do to improve the life of your customers.

Habit 3. Humble Honesty: Business success requires the ability to know your strengths and weaknesses. Being open and honest about yourself and your business creates growth as an individual and as a company. Don't spend time developing weaknesses. Find help for weak areas, enabling you to focus on strengths. In the book, "Now, Discover Your Strengths", Gallup Organization reveals that building our strengths instead of fixing our weakness is the path to mastery and success. Take the time to know yourself and business.

Habit 4. Adaptability: Business success requires the ability to adapt to changing situations. Nothing ever goes as planned. The world of business is full of surprises and unforeseen events. Using the habit of adaptability allows business owners to respond to circumstances with the ability to change course and act without complete information. Being flexible allows us to respond to changes without being paralyzed with fear and uncertainty.

Habit 5. Opportunity Focused: Problems are a regular part of business life. Staff issues, customer misunderstandings, cash crunches- the list is endless. To achieve business success, look at both sides of the coin. Every problem has an opportunity. Being opportunity focused makes the g**e of business fun and energizing.
