Re: More differentiators for a small business start up

Hello Friends,
Your ad strategy should begin before you even put the "Open" sign in your window. Getting ready for customers starts with the decision that you're going to open up your own business. Gear up now to reap the rewards of success for the life of your business. Know what you want to tell customers about your business. Let's say you want to open up a furniture store.Do you want to be known as the discount furniture store or the upscale furniture store? Do you have a large inventory or select pieces? The colors you choose, your logo and all of your materials should be consistent. Don't just choose red because it's your favorite color.Take this major decision one step further. Companies spend a lot of time and money on developing their look. No matter what the size of your company, you should too. What other businesses in your area will you be competing with for the customer's dollar? Identify those competitors and your differentiators. What makes your company better? What makes their company better? Take your company's strong points and use them to attract customers. Take your company's weaker points and see how you can improve them to fill those gaps.Even when your company takes off, continue to analyze your differentiators. There's always room for improvement and more sales as business evolves.
Thanks.

Re: More differentiators for a small business start up

Hello To All

1.Serving the basic needs:Imagine every individual has some basic needs like food, shelter, clothes, healthcare, travel, electricity and water. When market is cutting down their spending, basic spending is always going to stay the same; it just needs more cost effective solutions.
2.Using technology to scale:Technology is the way to scale. It is the technology that enables us to keep in touch with our friends. It is technology that lets us connect to millions of individuals, know and share information that would otherwise take years to reach -- with the cost that every common person can afford.
3.Staying global, thinking local:Recession puts business models at test. Recession is going to demand reaching maximum audience for the same investment in production happening in the local market.
4.Cost control with bootstrappingenture capital is going to be hard to find, one needs to bootstrap the business with very less resources and still be able to provide the best service quality.
5.Less liability, more utilisation:Trick will be to lessen the fixed costs of the business, so even if the sales get affected for some time, it does not put burden on the company's accounts.

Have a nice day

Re: More differentiators for a small business start up

I first started dabbling in affiliate marketing in 1996/7, but it wasn't until 2001 that I finally learned what it takes to actually see decent financial return for the effort expended. It wasn't so much about working harder, just working smarter. After having achieved decent success as an affiliate, I then went on to work as an Affiliate Manager - to approach affiliate marketing from the other end of the equation was a very interesting experience.

I hope you find these tips, articles, guides, tools and tutorials of benefit to you in your affiliate marketing efforts. This archives contains information for both affiliates and merchants. Good luck!
