I have met many people in life that aren't happy. What works for me is I try to see the good in every situation, and if a bad situation does arise what good will it be for me to be down about it. I set goals for myself everyday be it for work or whatever else I plan on doing, and I stick to it so I feel accomplished at the end of the day.
