Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

Employee engagement is a situation: employees are fully immersed in their work and love of their organization. No one can be anything, unless and until one is serious about it. Employees must be committed to his work, and should use it as a challenge.

Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

Employee engagement describes the system through which an worker develops positive social and emotional ties to an employer. Employee engagement programs operate under the assumption that engaged employees will be more productive and will therefore generate more profit for the business. If the worker works for a non-profit, by the same assumption, engaged employees will be more committed to furthering the goals of the non-profit.

Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

Employee engagement is about how people behave at work. This is the degree to which people in an organization know what to do, and willing to give their discretionary effort to do so. The difference between people who come to work and do a proper job, and people who come to work and really give their best, demonstrate their creativity and use their initiative.

Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

Employee engagement, also called work engagement or worker engagement, is a business management concept. An "engaged employee" is one who is fully involved in, and enthusiastic about, his or her work, and thus will act in a way that furthers their organization's interests. According to Scarlett Surveys, "Employee Engagement is a measureable degree of an employee's positive or negative emotional attachment to their job, colleagues and organization which profoundly influences their willingness to learn & perform at work".

Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

First of all we have to manage our HRM (Human Resource Management) side.
In Employment Engagement we have to give Leadership & Employee Engagement System, from employee engagement surveys, employee engagement training, leadership development.
Then employers are motivate to their works.....

I agree with you. I think this is the best definition for employee engagement. It is more on to the work face for an employee. I have been hearing this words and most of the time, different meaning comes up.

Re: What Is Employee Engagement?

It must be a bit too late, but I happened on that post, so I'll give it a try.
I'd say 'implication', in the sense that an employee does his/her best to achieve the company's goals.
