Tips on Where to Find Employee Training

1. Check out the internet for convenient, cost-effective web-based courses. Start with internet service providers like America Online or the education sections of such portals as Netscape and Yahoo!
2. Contact state and local development agencies. Some of them offer training programs in order to attract and keep businesses.
3. Investigate programs offered by local universities, community colleges and *****-education programs.
4. Hire teachers or consultants to provide training at your place of business or off-site. Get references first.
5. Ask corporations. Many offer instruction on the software they market or the equipment they manufacture.

Call your staff go out of their comfort zone. You cannot move forward if you don't grow, and you cannot grow if you never leave your comfort zone. Whenever possible, let your employees demanding jobs. Help them prepare, giving them a safe environment to learn from the mistakes that they have to do.

Devolution is probably the best advice I can give. Without delegation, the new employee more likely to lack initiative. Soon you'll have a bored and lazy employee of new ones that you possibly fire and start the process again

Take the attitude that training is really employee development,Recognize that formal training programs are only part of the picture.,Help employees develop problem-solving skills and the ability to think,Set an example, At the last you must go to understand the opportunity.

There are a variety of ways to encourage employee participation. To promote strong employee involvement, follow these steps:

1. Find out what parts of their jobs people find the most rewarding. Provide them with opportunities to perform these tasks.
2. Acknowledge work that is done well. We all want to be recognized. Employees—and supervisors—need to know what they are doing is important and appreciated.
3. Be enthusiastic. Demonstrate purpose, commitment and inspiration to your employees.
4. Create an upbeat work environment. Use patience and understanding when working with members of your group.
5. Create an environment of growth. Encourage employees to take on new responsibilities within their capabilities. Give employees opportunity to expand their capabilities through education and training.
6. Lead by example. It’s not what you say or believe. It is about what you do.
7. Be available. Encourage your employees to approach you with their work-related concerns and suggestions.
8. Share your authority. Give employees latitude in solving problems and in performing their tasks.
9. Share the planning. Include the those responsible for meeting objectives and goals in the process of developing them.
