I am an owner of a small business with me and my wife as employees. I am looking for some advice on retirement savings options for owners of small businesses. I want to make maximum contributions that are allowed for a person and cannot decide which is a better option, 401(k), Roth IRA, SEP. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Re: S-Corp and Retirement
I have setup S corp and I am going to be one man company doing consulting, ... Your retirement plan questions would've been answered also.
Re: S-Corp and Retirement
This is a legal question and I must state that I am not an attorney.
I have helped many people to form IRAs and it seems they are very popular.
A lot of people seem to trust in IRAs more than 401(k) plans.
You should contact a business attorney. He should be able to help you with your IRA and 401(k).
If you open in Florida or Texas, The Law Offices of Nick Spradlin, PLLC should be able to help you with your Self directed IRA.
