Can anyone recommend some software/products for writing procedures?

We use SmartDraw.com - Create Charts and Diagrams with SmartDraw which allows us to create flow charts. It also allows us to create everything from floor plans to calendars, it is a great business tool but it is not specific just to procedures.

We use smartdraw as well but I wish it came with a standard layout for the word document, that would bring the workflow and discussion together.

You maybe able to find some good templates here I have found some templates for other similiar documents and they are free http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/default.aspx

A lot of my clients are Dentist so I was looking for some procedures or Standard Operating Procedures to improve their practices.
