Careers that offer commissioned incentives based ono sales performance can be an excellent opportunity to bring home a large paycheck. Unfortunately, salesman get a bad reputation if they are too pushy or seem to be too desperate to close a sale. Here are some customer friendly ways to boost your sales and your paycheck without having to beg to close the deal.

1. Features, Advantages, and Benefits
Many salespeople spend too much time extolling the virtues of the features of their product or service. In other words they talk about what their offering is, rather than what it can do for the customer. So a basic sales skill is the ability to differentiate between:
The features of what the product/service is.
How these features might be an advantage to a customer.What a real customer says the benefits are of having the product or using the service.
If the salesperson just talks features at their customer, the customer will quickly become bored, because most of the features have no interest for them. The safest way for the seller to proceed is to find out exactly what benefits the customer is looking for, and to do that they need to ask the right questions.
2.Listen more than you talk
Great sales professionals understand the value of listening. As said by many, if you were designed to talk more than to listen, you would have two mouths and only one ear. Use your two ears at least five times more than your mouth. As a wise man once told me: If you are telling, you ain’t selling.

Improve sales skills are beneficial to increase the profit of the company. there are some tips to increase the sales such as be present and stay focused, pause before you reply, focus on listening, use your Intuition and ignore distractions.

I really enjoyed reading your post and I feel that a person needs to go out of their box and sell what they need to sell, as you have mentioned in your 3 pointer.
It is also very important to understand, what way would they like to hear you sell it.

2. Not a sell your services, Solve the problem of customers
3. Improve communication skills
4. Handle customer objections
5. Develop Positive attitude

Sales like any other known skills can be mastered and perfected. You just simply need to develop a thick skin and persist until you come to understand what influence people to make a purchasing decision. You also need to be someone that learns real quickly from their mistakes. Be willing to experiment on various tricks and technique and monitor how this is impacting your close rates.

You need to have a clear mission and cater to customer needs. You need to have a knack for that but some can pick it up along the way.

You should look for improvements. Even the best of the best have room for improvement. Make a decision to improve your weaknesses and set goals to force yourself to do the things you don’t like doing. Imagine the perfect salesperson and compare yourself to the ideal.

One of the best advice I received is to keep conversation flow and change it based on other party interest. It needs experience but after a while, it really helps.

I agree with much of what has been said above.  Be willing to make the necessary improvements or modification based on client feedback. Also, listen more and do not be too critical when getting thoughts from others as to what your service or product should look like. Refine you offer and target your customer base again.

Learn how to be a great sales person. You can get this knowledge by seeing other experienced sales experts doing it or you can read books. Also learn the art of persuasion. You want to know how to convince a customer and get them to close a deal.

One more way of improving sales skills is by having sound technical knowledge about the product.

It is essential for any sales pitch. You must add that as an important point as well. Because if you do not know your product, how would you sell?

The quickest if not the easiest way to learn about improving your sales skills is working along side an established sales professional. There are some strategies and tactics you will not know unless you work with a professional that does sales in the area you're interested in.
