Hi

* Identify what potential risks could affect your business during severe weather. Are you near a floodplain or surge zone?
* Develop Business Interruption Plans and implement mitigation measures to minimize loss of jobs and business activity. Know which employees will be unavailable to work in times of crises because of other obligations - children, parents, etc. Have a back-up business location. Keep up to date emergency phone numbers for employees.
* Line up alternate vendors for essential supplies and equipment. Have backup equipment and know its availability. Pre-sign contract on these items of neccessity to avoid last-minute rushes.
* Contact your state or local emergency management office or building official, or FEMA Regional Office for more information on protecting your business through planning ahead.
* Encourage and support local community prevention efforts that reduce the risk to critical local infrastructures like electricity, water, and roads that are necessary for the continued operation of your business.
* Promote awareness of Hazard Risk and prevention solutions among your employees, customers, and the public. Set examples by following fire codes and conducting emergency drills like fire drills.

Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide security for communications over networks such as the Internet. TLS and SSL encrypt the segments of network connections at the Transport Layer end-to-end.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

Hello Friends...........

SSL is an acronym for Secure Sockets Layer, an encryption technology that was created by Netscape. SSL creates an encrypted connection between your web server and your visitors' web browser allowing for private information to be transmitted without the problems of eavesdropping, data tampering, or message forgery.

Thanks

Re: What is ssl certificate?

A secure sockets layer (SSL) certificate is a digitally signed credential, which is issued by a credentialing agency for a specific organization’s website. SSL certificates are used in Internet technology to ensure the safety of transmissions between a web browser and a server. A browser and server exchange information that indicates that the web server is valid, and the server establishes a secure connection. Users can check their browser's appearance to determine whether they are on a secure connection.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

Web servers and web Browsers rely on the secure sockets layer protocol to create a uniquely encrypted channel for private communications over the public internet..! Each SSL certificate consists of a public key and a private key..! Hope You Understand..!

Re: What is ssl certificate?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

In simple terms, SSL( Secure Socket Layer) is a protection of the data or information passed to your website by the users. Like if you have an ecommerce site, then you need a security certificate for your website to ensure your users that their information is kept private.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide communication security over the Internet. SSL encrypt the segments of network connections above the Transport Layer, using asymmetric cryptography for privacy and a keyed message authentication code for message reliability.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

ssl is a protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encrypt data − a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message.

Re: What is ssl certificate?

Secure Socket Layer protocol was created by Netscape to ensure secure transactions between web servers and browsers. The protocol uses a third party, a Certification Authority (CA), to identify one end or both ends of transactions. This is briefly how it works.
