What is Page Rank?

PageRank (PR) is Google’s main method of ranking web pages for placement on a search engine results page (SERP). PageRank refers to the system and the algorithmic method that Google uses to rank pages as well as the numerical value assigned to pages as a score.

In simple terms, page rank is a measure of how 'important' a web page is. It works on the basis that when another website links to your web page, it's like a recommendation or vote for that web page. Each link increases the web page's page rank

PageRank is an algorithm used by Google to rank websites in their search engine results. It is for counting the number and quality of links to a page to determine a rough estimate of how important the website is.
