Hi !

Here are some information regarding to SEO keywords density.

Keyword density refers to the ratio or percentage of keywords contained within the total number of index able words within a web page. It is important for your main keywords to have the correct keyword density to rank well in Search Engines. SEO Keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. The recommended keyword density ratio is 2 to 8 percent. Keywords quality is very important more than keyword quantity in Search Engine Optimization because if we have keywords in the page title, the headings, and in the first paragraphs this count more. The reason is that the URL (and especially the domain name), file names and directory names, the web page title, the headings for the separate sections are more important than ordinary text on the web page . We may have same keyword density as our competitor’s web site but if we have keywords in the URL, this will boost our website ranking incredibly.

Re: SEO Keyword Density

One of my sites needs higher keyword density. Otherwise, it has the same back-links (in terms of power) as one that ranks on the front page. It also has nearly the same age as the other sites (at least the ones I compared it with).

Re: SEO Keyword Density

Keyword Density is simply the number of times a certain word or phrase appears on your website pages. Keywords are an important part of building your website. When Google crawls your site it is important that your Keyword Density is in the acceptable percent range. Calculating Keyword density is easy, count the total amount of words in your post and divide by that number.

Re: SEO Keyword Density

Personally i never consider keywords density as a term of ranking. The main focus is writing a great content writing for user friendly content. If people love my content they will share it, they will visit again, as result page view, return visitor and time on webiste will be increase and that is google loves. so don't fill your pages with bolded keyworeds just trying to get some quality content

Re: SEO Keyword Density

Because of the Panda Update, keyword density is not really the thing to prioritize. I am not saying that it is bad if you have keyword density less than 2% or higher than 8%. For me, as long as you provide natural and unique content that is helpful and valuable, you would still generate traffic and that is the main key for success. I suggest to focus more on keyword prominence such as adding keywords to your Title tags, Header tags, permalinks or URL, site navigation, footer, sidebar, alt tags for images, as well as the body of your content.
