What would make anyone, big or small wanna advertise their products on a business networking site for youths? What do they look for?
Should I just approach them and say the site offers advertising ?

Youth always get attracted with the trendz, where the product should be new and different. I suggest firstly you have new product then 75% of your work is completed. Then comes to look, it should be colorful and graphical. If these qualities contained then need nothing to add on, your website will be ready to rock.

I believe that the video advertising has wider and better benefits over the other forms of advertising. This just works for the all the groups of people, as it conveys the idea in a better way. Moreover, adding a video to a website is the latest trend that's catching up in the market. So it would be better if you add some video advertisements to your website.
